Choose from one and two bedroom apartments with an extensive list of amenities, or opt for our luxury suite apartments. All accommodation comes complete with fully equipped kitchenettes, air conditioning, direct dial telephones, a complimentary safety deposit box, Wi-Fi internet, satellite 32" LCD TV and spacious, furnished balconies, with fresh linen and towels provided daily.

Every morning at Formosa commences with a hearty breakfast, served in our Arcos Restaurant between 7.30am and 10.30am. Our breakfast buffet allows you to create the perfect meal to set you up for the day – and you can choose from a wide-range of traditional breakfast foods, or continental offerings; all served with tea, coffee and a selection of fresh juices.

Lunch and dinner at the restaurant offers an appetising array of Portuguese and international cuisine; featuring a number of specialty dishes made with a range of locally sourced ingredients, courtesy of our exceptional in-house chefs.

A snack service also runs throughout the day to quench any hunger in-between meals; and we are happy to cater for any specific dietary requirements, or any other needs you may have.

The 18-hole San Lorenzo Championship Golf Course has been consistently voted one of the best in Europe for the past 30 years. Designed by US golf course architects Joseph Lee and Rocky Roquemore, the course is located within the protected Ria Formosa Nature Park and estuary, and boasts fairways that run alongside saltwater marshes, freshwater lagoons and the cooling Atlantic ocean. Containing two nine-hole groupings, both spiralling out in a figure of eight with the clubhouse at the centre, San Lorenzo delivers breath taking surroundings… along with hole after hole of tough, entertaining golf.

Pinheiros Altos is one of the most prestigious and successful golfing centres in Europe, and features a 27-hole championship course that offers exciting challenges and varying levels of difficulty. The course features three 9-hole groupings, each a par 36, with numerous ways of playing 18 sublime holes, depending on your level of experience. Located deep in the heart of the Ria Formosa nature reserve, the course is just a stone’s throw away from extensive unspoilt beaches and the expansive Atlantic ocean… guaranteeing one of the most scenic rounds you will ever play.
